Referral program terms
Earn 20% of a referred company's first payment, up to $500 per company. These terms explain exactly what qualifies and how commission is paid.
How commission is calculated
- You earn 20% of the referred company's first successful payment to Deskmate, up to $500 per referred company.
- The payment counted is the amount actually charged: after discounts and credits, and excluding sales tax or VAT.
- Example: a first payment of $200 earns $40. A first payment of $5,000 earns $500 (the cap).
- Only the first successful payment qualifies. Renewals, upgrades and later payments do not earn additional commission.
- Free plans, trials and $0 invoices are not qualifying payments; the first paid invoice after them is.
Who qualifies
- A company qualifies when it creates a new Deskmate organization within 30 days of clicking your referral link, in the same browser.
- If someone clicks several referral links, the most recent click before signup gets the credit.
- Each company can be referred only once. Organizations that already existed before the click do not qualify.
- Self-referrals do not qualify: signing up with your own email address, or referring the organization you belong to.
- Duplicate or test accounts created to collect commission are not eligible and may be reversed.
Failed payments, refunds and cancellations
- A failed or declined payment never creates commission. The referral stays “Signed up” until a payment succeeds.
- If the qualifying payment is refunded or charged back within 30 days and before the commission is paid out, the commission is reversed.
- A company cancelling its subscription after a successful first payment does not reduce commission you have already earned.
Payouts
- Payout method: Bank transfer or PayPal.
- Payout schedule: Monthly, within the first 10 business days.
- Minimum payout: $50. Earned commission below this rolls over until the balance reaches it.
- Payout status moves from Pending → Approved → Processing → Paid. A rejected payout returns its commission to your unpaid balance unless the referral was found ineligible.
